Katie Price has made a stunning career for herself from simply being downright entertaining. The woman has no shame and following revelations that she made to the press concerning her divorce with Australian throw-back, Peter Andre, it is clear that she won't ever lost her touch.
Why is Katie Price or Jordan So Popular?
Katie Price could be called and accused of being many things. She is perhaps not very talented, if by talented we mean someone who has developed an admirable and unreachable skill for the majority. For example, Aretha Franklin was undoubtedly a talented singer. Her voice excelled that of others in her field and beyond.
Neither is Katie Price a particularly admirable and likeable public persona. She is coarse and crass and it very rarely seems that she does anything without their being an ulterior motive behind it. Her love and need for cosmetic surgery hardly sends important messages to young and impressionable audiences and she does little to help empower women beyond the position of an objectified possession for male gratification.
However, Katie Price is an outstanding business woman. What a career she has managed to carve for herself from absolutely nothing. She is hot in the UK press right now and rarely goes through many dry patches; OK Magazine working with her constantly, tapping into the secret little holes of her life before anyone else gets a look in.
Why Did Katie Price Divorce Peter Andre?
Via her favourite tabloid newspapers, Katie revealed that the main reason behind filing for a divorce from her relatively long term husband, Peter Andre, was due to the fact that he wanted her to get rid of her horses! He wanted her to stop all relations that she had with her riding instructor and return home like a respectable woman.
Katie Price's riding instructor and his 29 year old wife took this opportunity to begin a being best friends with Katie and the three even began planning holidays together. What a way to rub the salt into poor Peter's wounds! Her ridiculous scandals, which really are nothing more than cheap, gossip trash, keep UK readers hooked and entertained day in day out, year after year.
Katie Price is excellent news material because she doesn't care what she shares. She loves having her private life on show. It is the way in which she communicates and the way in which she continues to make her fortunes.
What Will Be Missed About the Katie Price and Peter Andre Marriage?
Perhaps the main person to suffer from the Katie and Peter divorce will be Peter Andre himself. He is nothing without Jordan and her incredibly large, fake breasts. He was even heard to comment that he believed Jordan's riding instructor had a thing for fake breasts.
Clearly Andre is the one who is obsessed by his ex-wife's assets and maybe he has reason to be. They have made her career and without them, his career (not that there was much of a career to boast of anyway) is completely over.
However, what the public will probably miss about the couple's marriage is the complete stupidity of it all. In particular, whenever they gave an interview together, some fantastically benal and yet thoroughly entertaining TV was to be had.
One of their final interviews on the Friday Night Show with Jonathan Ross was very memorable for the way in which Jordan managed to wipe the floor with Ross and to leave him stumped, open-mouthed and shocked beyond belief; something that rarely happens to that character in interview for sure.
One thing is for certain, however, Katie Price will never be looking back. New, deep, love affairs will always be on the menu whilst they keep her in the public eye. Her horsing fun, whilst it keeps the press attention buzzing, will also remain another important element in her life.
