The bespectacled singer finally found a good man to "Stay" with.

Lisa Loeb, famous for her ‘90s ballads “Stay (I Missed You)” and “Do You Sleep?”, wed music supervisor Roey Hershkovitz in front of 275 people in a Jewish ceremony at New York City restaurant Brasserie 8 1/2. The couple met while Hershkovitz, who is currently a music supervisor for Late Night with Conan O’Brien, was looking for a host for a new food show he was producing. She didn’t get offered the job but she did get the producer. The couple got engaged in November 2008 after dating for two years.

The Wedding & Reception

According to Loeb’s manager, Janet Billig Rich, Loeb donned a strapless pink gown designed by Amsale Blue Label while her new hubby selected a suit from designer Paul Smith. The restaurant was decorated with all-white flowers that will later be donated to FlowerPower Foundation.

The 275 guests noshed on jumbo lump crab cakes and Caesar salad prepared by Chef Julian Alonzo and a white wedding cake with chocolate mousse filling created by pastry chef Martin Howard.

Jazz band The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn played at the reception and was followed by DJ Mike C. Wedding planner Amy Shey Jacobs said the couple wanted the reception to feel “warm, relaxed and well-fed” in the winter wonderland type atmosphere.

Lisa’s Musical and Romantic Past

In September 2005, Loeb’s debut album Tails was released. Her most successful track to date, “Stay (I Missed You)”, along with the track “Do you Sleep?”, helped the album achieve Gold status. Unfortunately for Loeb, none of her subsequent albums replicated the success of her first.

Loeb also has a history of working with her significant others professionally. Her ex-boyfriend Juan Patino co-produced her first album Tails when they were still dating and she did a travel food show with then-boyfriend Dweezil Zappa. The show, Dweezil & Lisa, followed the couple across the country in 2003 while they feasted on unique and diverse foods. The show premiered in January 2004 but only lasted one season; Loeb announced in May 2004 the couple had split.

Loeb was never known as a celebrity who liked to be seen and she fell off the celebrity map for a few years. In 2005, she resurfaced with her own reality show/documentary on the E! Network. The show was titled #1 Single as a nod to both her romantic status and her music career. Cameras followed Loeb around NYC as she looked for love, wrote new songs and got set up on a blind date or two.
