Pink announced on the Ellen DeGeneres Show that she and her ex-husband are back together. The singer and motocross racer had been repeatedly seen on romantic outings.
Pink and Carey Hart have been displaying a lot of PDA, and have been caught kissing and snuggling. People Magazine reported that the pair shared a romantic week-end lunch together and left the restaurant with their arms around each other. The Couple’s Feelings Towards Each Other Remain StrongPink and Carey Hart were married back in January 2006 in Costa Rica, only to split two years later. Yet their split seemed to have been amicable. The two had been friendly with one another since their split in 2008. During the last few months, Pink and Hart have been spending an increasing amount of time together. They even rang in the New Year with each other. It was just a matter of time before an official announcement of their rekindled relationship was made. It seems Carey Hart never changed his feelings toward his ex-wife. He told People Magazine that "...she’s so dedicated to her fans and putting on amazing live shows. She might not see the record success of a Britney Spears but the girl sells a hell of a lot of albums. She’s incredible." He has also been quoted saying, "we’re rebuilding. Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward. We’re definitely putting in work." Pink’s feelings towards Hart are pretty much at par with Hart’s. She posted a message on her website, stating, "one never knows the future, but mine and Carey’s just might involve beach babies and sunshine one day." Ellen also congratulated Pink during her interview on being "happy" and "back together". Song "So What" Doesn’t Apply to Pink’s Situation AnymoreAfter the couple’s initial split back in 2008, Pink wrote the smash hit "So What", in which she depicts herself being free from her ex. Now that they have reconciled, that song seems ironic and awkward to perform. Pink claims that certain lyrics that are aimed at Hart are particularly funny to sing. She told Ellen DeGeneres that "he's in the audience so when I sing, 'He's a tool,' now that's my favorite line. Hi, Honey, that's you." Wedding in the Near Future for Pink and Carey? When asked if there will be another wedding in the future, Pink tells Ellen, "we didn't do the paperwork deal. I love a party." Even without a wedding, it’s nice to see the couple, who have obviously remained close throughout the entire split, are putting an effort into rebuilding their relationship. According to Pink’s website, she insists that they were still close and loved each "so much".
